New blog by Councillor Paul Fisher

My friend and Community Group colleague Councillor Paul Fisher has joined the world of blogging, launching his own site called Cllrfisher's Weblog.

Please give it your support by visiting regularly and adding your comments.

Hopefully we will see more Hounslow councillors in the not-too-distant future letting us have their thoughts on the big issues of the day, as well as a bit of insight into the everyday life of an elected member of a local authority.

Good luck with it Paul.

Hello Phil & Paul, a quick question for you both if I may.
Gossip on the grapevine suggests that the ICG is directly responsible for the recent spate of UFO sightings as you have apparently sold the borough to Martians for 1 Euro (approx. 83 pence).
Your comments on this please, bearing in mind this could be the main feature of the next "West London Rose".

Come now, this is very hard to swallow !
Surely they're not going to drop their "Phil Andrews Eats The Great Wall Of China" expose' to publish rubbish about aliens instead ?

More potential trouble ahead guys.
Apparently a talking tree in Silverhall Park has been telling all the winos that the carbon footprint left behind from your recent globe-trotting exploits (Harrogate, Bournemouth, Isle Of Wight etc), has just killed 10 polar bears at the North Pole.
As I speak, people wearing red rosettes are there in force, desperately pumping the sycamores for more newsworthy info.

HEY, LAY OFF THE TALKING TREES!
Last year, a kindly Horse Chestnut told me to put all my spare cash into a mini ISA and now I can afford the cab fare to go and see my hero in Downing Street.

They don't all talk rubbish you know!

I thought this thread was getting very silly, but conker trees have always given sound financial advice.

This is ridiculous - are you seriously suggesting that a mainstream political party is sourcing material for its local newsletters from talking trees ?

When did they stop using the fairies at the bottom of their garden ?

Oi, what's with this "mainstream political party" thing? Are you trying to discredit us?

When they accused us of being institutionally racist.

Well what went on there then - those last few messages look horribly out of 'synch'.
This thread is beginning to look dodgier than certain people's expense claims !
